How many AP and Honors?

<p>How many semesters of ap and honors classes is considered rigorous?</p>

<p>What is a good number to have from grades 9-12?</p>

<p>For that I'd say something close to 10-12 AT LEAST.</p>

<p>For UCLA, the average of all admits is 19 semesters during 10-12. The average is 14 for all applicants.</p>

<p>Almost half of those admitted have more than 19 semesters.</p>

<p>it really depends on how many your school offers. Unless someone is advanced in math, our HS (which is highly competitive) does not offer any bonus point classes Soph year; precalc soph year would count, but administration refuses to let kids take AP until Jr year. Thus, in Jr year, its typically 4-5 year-long bonus point classes.</p>
