I heard that one of my friends knows someone who ran out of AP labels, I'm just wondering, how many tests do you have to take to run out of AP labels? Not that I'm going to take that many tests, I'm just curious.

I think 5? is good enough to run out of labels… or maybe even 4… cause I took 4 and I almost used a fifth of the labels or possibly more.

Depends on the tests you take, since I think some require more labels than others. You get 18 labels though, which should be enough for eight tests, assuming you spend two on the AP booklet, and then spend two per test.

It may vary for different tests/schools. My school would sometimes put index cards with our names on it so we knew where to sit, then make us put a label on it. (made matching AP numbers with the seating chart easier, I guess)

Each test uses 2 labels, except Foreign Languages, which have a label on the cassette you record your oral presentation(s) on.

Having been someone who ran out of labels this last year, I can speak from experience.
You have enough labels to put on your booklet and that yellow sheet plus 8 exams, so theoretically if you didn’t put it on your booklet or yellow sheet, you could have enough for 9 exams.
HOWEVER, if you take a language exam, you will have one less since they need 3.
Also, I know my friends who took fewer exams had to use a TON for their art exams.

I have no idea, but I ran out before the end of the first week after taking 18 total.

Most exams use 2 labels. I used all 18 during my junior year when I took 9 exams: 7 required the normal 2 labels, 1 required three labels (Music Theory), 1 required only 1 label (Chinese).
