How many Applications from NC/SC

Oh if it is just to do auto denies and auto admits, then thats cool. I thought it was just that you earned a certain number of points and you had to go over that number. I thought it was the auto deny because I read that book written by the ex Duke Adcom.

I thought the boost only went to NC residents, but SC residents too? That 40% acceptance rate RD looks pretty darn good for me, especially since I'd be pretty competitive anyway, and I'm from the coastal region and live in a rural town. All of this boosts and I still won't get in...tsk tsk tsk...

Where did you get those stats by the way?

it goes to NC and SC residents... yeah, 40% RD, but what's funny is that that is higher than the ED rate for the carolinas.

PS. On the topic of affirmative action, i'm not sure if this has been addressed or not, but the only schools that Bakke and subsequent court cases have dealt with are public schools... private schools (such as Duke) can do waht they want.

Duke publishes a sheet of admissions information for carolinians (although I still think that north carolina should take over south carolina and that charlotte should be the capitol of them both)

YEAH YEAH... Go Charlotte...

Actually, I dont know if we want south cacalaca...;)

South Carolina would secede from NC, so...

But Duke gets public funding so Bakke still applies.

"South Carolina would secede from NC, so..."

We won't stop you. Who'd want SC? They're twice as red-necky as us.

mEKROB, that wasnt a nice statement at all...u should apoligize...:)

Anyone from Maryland because USC is whooping up on yall in the NIT...lol
