I'm mainly posting this to see how many people apply EA from other crazy math/science high school where so many apply to MIT, like TJHSST for ex (Stuyvesant has 38 this year =\ ) I wonder if the distance makes a difference too for schools like MIT, since NY is reasonably close to Boston.

0... and i believe no one in my state will apply EA. Edit : except me!

five (including me)

3 people- me, myself, and I.

Something like 6 or 7.. myself included. The most we've ever had get in is four; usually it's only one.

only 1 here. I think I'm also the only one applying to MIT period, but that's probably because I come from a liberal arts school (yet I'm a HUGE science nerd)!

it's just me! and i think only one person has ever gone to MIT in the history of my school.

I know one other guy is considering. Havent asked if he applied yet.

My school according to the last 5 years has never sent a single kid to an IV school or a school like MIT iirc..

I'm the only one in my entire region of 150K+ people... Yay!

I don't believe that anyone else in my school applied EA to MIT. I didn't hear about it if anyone did, anyway.

I do know of a few people applying RD, though.

The first person in our schools 50 year history got in last year. This year I am the only one, and don't stand a chance.

Heh. I am the only one, I think. I don't think I will get in.

3 including me !!!

no one but me. i dont think i'm the only one in AZ though

I only know of 2 for sure that are applying EA. If I look at Naviance only 5 applied last year - or maybe the last two years. We're a large suburban school with a successful science research program - I'm suprised MIT numbers are so low.

Nope dima I'm in AZ too. I think that I am the only one in my school applying to anywhere elite. My school is lame.

So I wonder whos applying also from WV. OR montana, S. Dakota or the mid-western states >.>.

4 from my school this year. Most in a long time.

i don't think anyone have gotten in MIT from my high school in the entire school history.
