How many AP classes have you already taken/ or plan to take? How much is "too much"?

I'm taking 6 this year [senior], which is the most that would fit in my schedule. I definitely don't think it's too much, and in fact, I'm really almost bored with it [[[[I am NOT trying to sound like "ohhh AP is so easy.. I'm so cool/smart/NERDY!!! lol. Just... honors classes are ridulous IMO at my school and wouldn't dream of taking any instead of an AP].
Throughout all of high school I'll have done 11.

I dunno if there even is such a thing as "too much." It really depends on each person and their own capabilities.

Senior year- 6 APs at a time, 7 total (Goverment AP and Eco AP are semester courses.) I will have done 12 at the end of high school. This is normal course load for my school. There are some people taking more APs than I am.

"Too much" depends on the person. There's a guy at my school taking all AP classes and thinks it's OK. But one of my friends complains about how stressful are her 2 AP classes.

i'm taking five, also a senior. i'm thinking too much is when you feel like walking into the middle of a race and falling asleep on the track is when you should cut back on the APs.

took 3 as a jr.
will take 4 as a sr.

our school only offers 12 or 13 total (and some of those couldn't apply to me-- computer science and the other ap language exams) so my courseload is pretty much (with 1-2 exceptional ppl every couple years) the most rigorous at my school (not bragging, it's just... true. i go to a small school). It really annoys me how easy some people seem to find aps (not here, just friends that go to other schools), since 2/3 that i took last year were very tough...

^ i'm pretty nervous about my aps..i just won't let a few classes make my year terrible..although, i have a bigger problem than hard classes: not being able to focus and study at home..that's really what an ap student should ask themselves: can I sit at home and read about this and do all the work for the next year or so?

I'm taking one. Idk how hard AP's are at my school...but I really don't care.

I took one last year, and am taking 5 this year, as a junior.

just two .

5 + one SUPA course (a course through Syracuse University) senior year, 3 junior year, 1 sophomore year.

I'm only taking one, Ap modern world history. I'm going to be in the tenth grade and this is going to be my 2nd ap class.

2 as a junior; I 2nd carsonne.

Junior-4

.
.

soph-3
junior-4
senior-4 classes but 6 tests
I don't think it's too much because I usually end up slacking off most of the time anyways

2 junior year (and 2 self study)

5 senior year

No such thing as "too many"...

1 last year (Euro)
4 junior year; also taking the APUSH exam
5-6 senior year, depends on district budget

What is "too much"? Depends on what the exams are. I wouldn't stop an accelerated track to avoid overkill, though. Once you've taken an AP course, "honors" classes sometimes seem uninteresting in comparison.

I wish I could take that many. My school has APUSH and AP Calc.
I'm taking Calc this year (APUSH last year) and self studying AP Physics C:Mechanics, Psych, German Language and possibly Euro History... fun year :)

I'll be a sophomore next week and I am only taking 1 Ap. My school only offers 1 AP to sophomore; Ap world history.

actually I guess if we're counting self-studied AP's I have 2+5=7 and i'm a rising soph ..lol

^ewwwwwwwwwwww. why?
