How many ap's have u taken in high school, and how many as a senior?

Yes, she'll be in classes above AP level & off-campus mentoring by the time she's a junior. While on lists of AP courses it looks like she's slacking off, her transcript will show something different.

Her AP teachers may be special cases, I don't know. She has regular homework, but not massive amounts. She still has time to do other things.

She did the geography in 8th grade just because she could, not because it would count for anything.

I've taken and passed 6 AP exams thus far. As a senior, I plan to take seven additional exams.

I took 3 AP classes my junior year and another 3 in senior.

11 total
2 - Sophomore
4- Junior (now)
5 - Senior

So far I've taken 6, and I'm taking 5 right now.

I'll probably end up with 13 total, because AP Gov will become Macro, and I'll probably also take Micro.

Six Junior Year
Nine Senior Year (Three are Self-Studying)

Total of Fifteen

I've taken 2 APs in High School. Both during my senior year(I didn't know it was actually college-credit applicable until the end of the year: I originally took the classes because the content seemed comparatively interesting to other offerings).

So far, I've taken 5 APs in total.

I am taking 3(wh, micro, stats) my Sophomre year. If I follow this trend I will take 4(calc, us history, chem, macro) my Junior year and anywhere from 2-5 my senior year.

So really from 9-12 before hte end of HS.

wow mathinokc calc bc and chem as a freshman for your dd (no idea what that means)? I'm taking those now as a senior lol.

I've taken only 1 AP thus far.
Freshman - 0
Sophomore - 1 (AP Euro - 4)
Junior (Currently) - 1 (AP Chemistry)
Senior (Still in the works) - 3 (AP Stat or AP Calculus, AP Physics B, AP Psychology)

So in total, I plan on graduating with 5 APs

great we all get to make ourselves feel better

sophomore year: ap chem (5) and apush (5)
jr. year (now) ap euro, ap calc bc and ap bio +maybe ap stats self study
nxt year most likely: ap micro, ap marcro, ap lit, ap lang, ap physics e, ap physics m, ap art history

total 12-13

6 total: 3 junior year, 3 senior year

junior: bio, chem, psych
senior: calc ab, euro, us hist.

School doesn't allow Freshmen and Sophomores to take APs, but I was able to squeeze my way into some:

Sophomore: (5-8) AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, AP Physics B, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: E&M, Self Study: AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, and possibly one of the AP Computer Sciences
Junior: (6) AP Statistics, AP US History, AP Environmental Science, AP Spanish Language, AP Chemistry, AP English Language (Along with 2-3 college courses that are beyond AP level)
Senior: (4-6) AP English Literature, AP US Gov, AP Spanish Literature, AP Psychology, AP Comp. Gov, AP Music Theory (Along with 4 college courses)

Total 10th-12th grade: 15-20

"squeeze my way into SOME:"

dude ur doing 5-8 aps sophomore year thats MORE than some

so ur school doesnt allow u to take APs sophomore year. yet ur taking it....
hmm "doesnt" probably has a new definition, gotta check it out.

15-20? might as well do all of them just like me....

lol, I'm the only soph taking an AP other than Bio, the only reason they let me in was because I have pretty good relations with the administration and I did pretty well in some national/international competitions freshmen year (like I was the first person from my district in over 40 years to qualify for the final stage of an Olympiad)

8 total. 4 senior year. AP classes are so beat though.

Sooooo....im thinking that AP's are the new honors, and honors are the new cp's.

3 - soph
5 - junior
8 - senior

it this too much (13)??
cause some of the college admit ppl who visit say that taking too much is bad.

^there no such thing as taking "too much". It's a matter of whether you can handle it.

also - 3, 5 and 8 don't add up to 13. last time i checked, at least. and it's only bad to take too many if you can't handle the workload.
