I want to take 3 APs ( physics, calculus, And chemistry) but I think it is too much. What do u people think. Give me ur opinions

Which ones do you want to take? There are several options:
-Calculus AB
-Calculus BC
-Physics B
-Physics C

and Chemistry.

It all depends on your motivation and work ethic. Personally, I don’t find any of the aforementioned APs hard, but you might (and conversely, you might be good at the APs I find difficult). I’ll give you another reply if you tell us which ones you’ll be taking.

Note: AP Physics B is easy, and Calculus AB is even easier.

Depends on you and how hard you are willing to work. I can tell you that none of the three you are taking right now are easy, but with a lot of effort and practice, they aren’t impossible. It also depends if you are more mathematically/scientifically oriented, then these should come naturally to you. Good luck!

@mapletree7. I want to take physics B and calculus BC like u said. So what’s ur thoughts about it

Okay. So you’ll be doing Physics B, Calculus BC, and Chemistry. Physics B is the easiest, while Calculus and Chemistry are harder. Like I said earlier, it all depends on your work ethic, and how well you comprehend math and science in general. There are several major topics you need to be aware of to do well in Chemistry:
- Stoichiometry (not too relevant)
- Bonding
- Equilibrium, Acids, Bases, etc.
- Electrochemistry
- Coordination Chemistry (also not very relevant)

For calculus, you just need to think systematically and understand the concepts. If you’ve taken Calculus AB (I hear some schools require it prior to BC) you’ll have seen that high school calculus comprises of doing trivial exercises over and over and over again. I would recommend buying either of the following textbooks:
Calculus, by Thomas and Finney.
AoPS Calculus (harder)

Physics B shouldn’t be too hard. Overall, it’s definitely doable with some effort on your part.

I’m taking four and it only takes two hours at most to do all of my homework. AP Lit takes about an hour on its own and everything else is just a breeze.
