Im a rising junior in high school and im wondering how many APs to take.

as for SAT IIs im going to take 3 Bio Chem US history.

and im looking forward to getting into Wash U, Johns Hopkins, BU, or a decent school with a 7 year program.

my advice would be to take whichever ones you’re interested in. colleges also want to see that you’ve challenged yourself. For example, I just finished junior year and took 3 aps (apush, english lang, bio) and I’m taking 5 next year (govt, latin, eng lit, bc calc, psych). I’m taking these because they seem interesting and it’s what my school can offer.

also, depending on what you want to do, you might want to take a math sat II? just a suggestion good luck!

thank you the problem with me taking math II is that im not good at math and im afraid that it will hurt me rather then help me

I would be careful of taking classes for the sake of getting into a program, everything gets a lot harder when you try to fake things.

Just take what your interested in, focus on research and getting first hand experience. If you don’t think you can do that and take the absolutely most rigorous course load, then for your purposes it might be wise to focus on the former as opposed to the latter.
