How many APs?

I'll be a sophomore next year, and I'm wondering how many AP courses to take. I was thinking of a schedule like this:

Precalc Honors
AP Biology
AP Physics B
AP US History
AP Chemistry/AP Statistics
English 10 Honors
Spanish IV

I don't know what to take. Advice?
Thanks!

How many “How many APs?” threads?

I’m not sure how intelligent you are, but that’s a huge courseload even for a senior. I’d go for quality over quantity :)

lol at least take AP Stat instead of AP Chem haha

you’ll start creating artificial life and go insane with that much science

Don’t take all three AP sciences in one year! I’d separate AP Bio and AP Physics if I were you (although, I’m currently a senior and taking those two classes -_-) because those AP exams are back to back on the same day. You’ve got two more years after that in high school! Pace yourself. I’d recommend taking APUSH, AP Stat, and AP Bio for sure.

I’m a sophomore this year. How does the following sound:

AP Biology
AP BC Calculus
Micro/Macro economics
AP Psychology
AP US Government and Politics

So I should AP Stats instead of AP Chem–I was fine with either one, really.

Has anyone crumbled under the pressure of taking 4 aps?

We were only offered 1 AP Sophomore…

freshman.
APWH
APCS

I’m a sophomore and the only AP I take is Euro. It’s plenty by itself.

By sophomore year you’ll need a minimum of 8 APs unless your goal is a community college.

Lol I’m a sophomore right now and I got 2 C’s and my only Honors class is Algebra 2 and no AP’s. Next year I’m only taking 1 AP so I guess I will go to community college… :frowning:
jk I wanna go to a big state university.

Who are you kidding? I took all the AP exams by the time I was 12.
