How many are going to CalSO and why?

hey guys.... how many of you are going to go to CalSO. Ive heard and read people having mixed feelings about attending it and I dont get why. So if you can tell me how many of you guys will be going and why...

June 7th, because I want to see some of the campus, and meet some of the staff/faculty. My major is pretty small, in terms of students, so I hear it is worth the day. And registration/other questions to ask someone in person. Meet other people in my major?

I see. On the website it shows that there are about 4-5 different dates... Im assuming it is best to go the first time june6 because of the obvious reason of registering first for classes or earlie than the other dates?

if you know your classes won't fill up, save the day+$95

lol lostincode, where is the CalSO pride?! Just go anyways, college costs money and these things could turn out to be surprisingly helpful.

I'm going to CalSO because I want to register for classes, meet with advisors and ask them all my questions about my major. Also, I think it will be helpful in learning about how to transition to Berkeley (in terms of registration, counseling. etc).

I signed up for June 21. When I signed up, June 7th was already full, and from checking back again, June 21 is now full as well.

Going just for the earlier registration. One of the classes I want to take has a limit of 20 spaces. I would not wake up that early if it was just for the other things...

I'm going to the one on the 21st.

Anyone know how we can get our free tickets for the Bears games? I think there is some registration process, and according to some website that is dated in 2005, the whole give away thing starts august 1st. Any ideas?

I am pretty sure we get free tickets for our first incoming season/year at Cal.

niggit...
I am wondering the same thing. I've been on 3 separate visits to the campus and talked to everyone from tour guides to admin & they all said that incoming tranfers and freshmen get season tickets for free the first year there except the Stanford game which doesn't matter anyway since it's not at home this year. If you find out how to get them please let us know. I am planning on asking at calso but mine is not until 7/6 since I couldn't get the time off sooner otherwise I would have went to the one at the beginning of June.
I am going to calso because I don't want to take a chance w/ my classes regardless if they look full or not and plus I want my id since I live in Davis and can use the ammenities at UCD w/ a Cal1 card even though it's a different UC.
