How many binders do you have for school?

but how do you even use the folder like whats the system and is there is a notebook for each class??? sorry i just might want to try out this method but how

It’s really simple. Just carry around 7 folders and a bunch of blank paper, and use one folder for each class, putting everything for each class in its own folder. Works for me m8.

I had 6 classes, so 6 2-inch binders. I left those in my locker, and carried around a paper, pocketed folder - one side for things I had to do and one side for things I had done/returned work. When I would go back to my locker at the end of the day, the finished/returned work would go into the correct binder.

I have 8 classes on any given day and semester, so I have 7 folders, all different colors for each class. And then I have to have an actual binder for Spanish, because the teacher is an idiot.

Would strongly recommend color-coded folders. They’re lighter, thinner, smaller, and easier to put papers in.

I also use some of my seven class folders for extracurricular stuff. For example, I keep stuff for robotics club in my folder for Engineering class, but on the opposite side of stuff from the class.

Although the folders might be a pain if you don’t carry them all in one central area. Otherwise you keep on having to go to your locker in between classes. I just carry my backpack around all day. It’s technically not allowed but literally only one guy ever had a problem with it all last year.

Wow, I did not know the rest of the world only carried around folders all day. I carry around 5 1 1/2 inch binders, 3 textbooks, 2-3 books for English, and a composition book. Do most schools not allow you to carry around a backpack? Because mine does and I don’t really have a problem with what I carry around, albeit it is sort of heavy.

2 binders:

AP Spanish
AP Euro

For AP Calc and Physics, notebook and a folder is more than enough.

I don’t need anything more than a folder for AP Lit

My school is on a block schedule, so I have one for four of my classes and one for the other four. I also have a 5-subject notebook to keep notes in.

I have one 2" binder and two notebooks for math and science. For other classes, I have a 1.5" binder and a couple of folders.

I used to always buy one binder for every class, with a matching folder and everything, but then I’d end up only using one of them.

I had a binder- 2 inch? 2.5?, and two folders for miscellaneous stuff and graded scantrons and stuff. I also had a fair amount of notebooks though- two for math alone, so maybe five total? I’m really happy college won’t have useless worksheets.

I tried using binders last year but it didn’t really work out for me, I got really tired of taking them out of my backpack all of the time and I ended up just stuffing papers in my backpack. I used 2 medium sized binders for my 2 AP classes, 2 small binders for English and Spanish and then a folder for Pre Calc.

I have one of those zip up binders and I never open the rings up. I just slide the papers in and pull them out when I need to. Assignments due at the top.

P.S. I recently did operation backpack packing for underprivileged students and the supplies such as multiple binders that students get compared to what actually is needed is quite luxurious to my standards.

I used three last year and plan on doing the same. One for french, one for humanities, and one for STEM.

I used 4 binders last year but hated the efficiency of that system so now I’m trying a new approach.

1 binder: loose paper, loose graph paper
1 3 subject notebook for each class per semester

The binder can hold the notebooks by sliding them in and then I’ll be done in that regard. I’ll also use folders to put different assignments

Binders have proved an unnecessary hassle for me for 3 years and I still never changed. This year I’m ditching binders. I’m going to use color coded folders for each class so I can easily carry them around in my backpack. I’ll place each class’ papers in their respective folders and take notes in their respective notebooks. This’ll make my backpack useful this year lol. I usually just carry everything in my arms and it sucks with my school’s overcrowded hallways

One really big one for all my subjects. I thought that was what most people did.

How do you guys manage to only use one binder? I end up filling a 2-inch binder past capacity for just ONE of my classes by the end of the year, haha.

Sometimes I would stuff papers in my book, usually History classes are ones that take up a lot of paper in my backpack, also math because so much homework gets passed back. My backpack was a mess last year, I’m gonna try to go with binders this year.

My school is semestered so I have 4 classes a day and I will usually have a different binder for each class except if I have art or something like that, then I don’t use a binder.
