One big one with all your subjects? Bigger binders for your bigger and more rigorous classes and combining the rest in binders? Just looking for ideas. Thanks!

One moderate sized one and an additional small one only if some teacher requires a specific one just for their class (which is really annoying). I find that I always think I’ll need more stuff than I actually do, but over the years I’ve found that one medium sized binder with a hard, durable cover and divers/clip in pockets is the perfect amount. Hope that’s helpful, but it really depends on your organizational style and workload :)

At my school we have 4 classes each semester. This semester I have Honors Chem, Honors Algebra II, AP Psych and AP Enviro. So I have a 1.5 inch binder for each class. Then I’m taking another AP after school and I have a 1.5 inch for that too.

I empty them at the 1st quarter mark if they get too full and file them so I still have them for finals.

Do yougo to your locker a lot then Alex? How do you possibly carry all those binders (even though they’re 1.5 inches) with textbooks?

For junior year it looked like this:

-1.5 inch binder for math, science, history, and English.
-Spiral notebook for Japanese.
-That’s it.

I have 5 binders. 4 1-inch binders and 1 2-inch. I have 1 for every subject except anatomy. But we have block schedule classes and 2 of them are for dual enrollment (college classes). So I only need 1-2 binders a day.

I have 1" binders for every class (English, which I also have a folder for; History; Chemistry; Spanish; Theology), except for a 1-1/2" binder for precalc (because our teacher made us get a bigger binder). I also have composition books for English and Chem. I usually empty all my binders after each grading period (so after each semester).

I use a 1 1/2 binder for all my subjects. English, Anatomy, Chemistry, Web Design, Physics, and Calculus.

Works perfectly fine or me.

I had five 1-inch binders, one for each class. That was plenty. I don’t like having one big binder, personally.
I usually have 3 inch binders for classes like english and calc because they have a lot of papers. Other classes either a 2 inch binder or just a folder
I have a system that I use that keeps my bag pretty light: I leave the binders at home. I have several folders with two pockets, and each pocket is a subject. If I get papers in a class or need to turn some in, they go in their pocket for the day when I need them, otherwise everything is in a binder. Worked for me.
Edit: Of course, a lot of what you’ll use is going to depend on how computer/cloud-friendly your school is. Almost all of my English stuff was started, finished, and turned in on my laptop.
