How many classes do you all take each quarter without overloading yourself?

Approximately 15 units per quarter is suggested. Some classes are one unit while others can be as much as 5. You will make decisions about what to take in units. I believe the maximum you can sign up for on your first pass is 19 units.

thanks… just trying to get prepared.

it’s so quiet over in this forum.

The minimum per quarter for financial aid is 13 units. They recommend 45 units a year (which is 15 units a quarter on average) which would get you to your 180 unit minimum to graduate.

Depending on your major, the unit wise might not be such a overhaul compared to the quality of courses. For instance, 16 units of all general ed is not the same as 16 units of 3 science classes and a general ed if that makes sense. You’ll get the jist of it when you get here
