previous posters have made it a known fact that if your tranferring from a CCC and you have medical school as a goal you basically have to take some classes pre med classes at a CCC... so i was wondering how many pre med classes are too many to take at a CCC? My couselor wants me to take gen bio. gen chem. and O-Chem and just wait for physics till after i transfer. Personally i think that is too many....
so any opinions or advice would be appreciated!

Are you a science major? If you're not then you do not need to take all of these classes before you transfer. You can take most of it afterwards. Take as many classes that you feel comfortable with, since adcoms prefer that you do not take your premed classes at a cc if you can still get the same grade at a four year university.

I'm actually taking all of my premed classes at a ccc because I'm a science major and I need the classes to transfer. Its been doable so far. I just finished taking physics and gen chem. Good luck. Just plan wisely.

Perhaps you should ask if anyone know of students who have been accepted to medical schools and who have started their college careers in cc. I don't know of anyone personally or anecdotally.

no im a political science major but i just dont know how to do it
