How many classes are we paying for?

Quick Question:

I heard that there is a fee that we pay already for classes. How many credits are we paying for and how many classes/credits am I limited to? I took Korean 103 and Japanese 101 in CC during my sophomore year and I want to continue taking them both simultaneously at UCSB, but i'm sure it equals up to 10 credits. SO i was wondering if i'd have to end up paying for a class. I"m hoping to take 4 classes the first quarter (my sophomore year during the fall I took 7 classes and got A's and B's, so i'm sure i'll be able to handle 4 for the quarter lol).

Assuming you are a full time student, you pay a flat fee per quarter for as much classes as you want to take (the maximum in Letters & Sciences is 21 units).
