how many subjects do u take in 1 year? I take 7.

8 this year, 9 last year. In Ontario, it is required to take 8 courses as a freshman and junior, and then a minimum of 6 in senior year.

so 9 per a day?

possible of 9 classes, but only 7 credits can count, the rest just pass/fail

I take 7 also. SEniors are required to take at least 4 (!) though.

I take 7 classes each day at my high school. I'm also taking three long distance learning classes.

The reason for my 9 courses last year (sophmore year) was that the Ontario curriculum requires each student to take 1 Civics course and 1 career studies course worth half a credit each. In all other years, the norm is 8.

I am in a really peculiar situation. I am now doing 9th and 11th grade at the same time and I'm also self studying 6 aps. This is not a lie.

thats weird primitive, best of luck to you.
My school seems to lag behind in comparison to other prep schools, but I don't know that its ever hurt us in terms of college admissions. Its set up for the UCs a-g list (since we're in cali) so we take 6 courses a year, and each course is a year long. I think they might increase it ot 7 next year. Everybody now takes 6, some people take an extra period before or after school, but the only classes offered then are journalism, yearbook, theatre, band, and chorus. Basically, its just giving out free course credit if you're in those activities. The 6 class thing sucks even more given that every year one of those 6 is a religious course. Oh well, I don't see it hurting my chances to get into college, and in some ways, it may have helped, given that it freed up more time for activities and left me more time to prepare for AP exams

6 .

most people in my school take six. a few people wake up at 6:30 and take 7. this year, i'm taking six, next year 7

8/7 in 9th grade, 10/7 in 10th grade, 10/6 in 11th grade, 9/6 in 12th grade.

I took 6 classes (1 college course) in Fall and 5 classes this semester. I'm graduating with 40 credits.

4 classes per semester (2 semesters)

8 this year.

Yea, I take 6. 7 if u count gym, but i don't. the bad thing about my school is that you have to take gym all 4 years, have to take lunch and you can't take extra classes b4/after school.

i'm only allow to take 6. i wish i could have more so i can take more APs

I took nine my junior year.

Junior Year:
AP AB Calculus, AP BC Calculus, AP US History, AP English Language, Clinical Rotations at local hospital, Advance Theater, Humanities, Spanish II, College Algebra

Senior Year:
AP English Literature, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Government, College Preparatory Math, Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, Pathology, International Business, Spanish III, Macroeconomics

Seven. That's the most we can take.
