How many classes do you have?

7 classes that are each 50 minutes, but with the time that’s taken to get to each class, they end up being 40 minutes. There are four different lunch periods, which are 25 minutes long.

I’m doing 13 GCSEs, 2 done already and one out of school, so taking 10 classes.
We get an hour for lunch and a 15 minute break between p2 and p3. And 20 minutes PSCHE/assemblies each day

I think I’ve got the most on here… 11 periods per day including lunch!
Periods are approximately 40 minutes long. I’m in school from 8-5 every day :(…
This year, I think I’ve got about SIXTEEN classes (think 16 teachers, 16 sets of homework, 16 test styles, 16 bathroom rules…) though three or four are only once a week. I go to a religious school, which means that about seven or eight of those are religious studies :(. I mean, I like those classes, but it means that my schedule’s jam-packed and stressful and I don’t get to take many advanced classes.

8 classes. 4 classes a day. 85 minutes each period.

4 classes a day, 90 minutes each. 3rd block is split into separate 45 minutes periods (3a, 3b, 3c) so if you have a class 3ab that’s 90 minutes and then you get lunch 3c, or you could get a 3bc class giving you lunch 3a. It’s kinda confusing…

How many classes you have in a year depends on what you sign up for. If its a bunch of .5 credit classes (meaning you’re only in that class for a quarter) you’ll obviously have more than someone who only takes 1 (semester long) or 2 credit classes (year long)

@Hannahbanana I had 16 classes last year as well, only 5 periods a day though :)

I have 8 plus one that I am going to take online.

4 classes–all of them about 80 minutes long.

7 classes for ~50 minutes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Tuesday, there are only the first four classes, and they are extended to 90 minutes. On Wednesday, the last three classes.

I have 8 classes. My first period class is every day for an hour, then I have 3 85-minute classes after that (which makes 4 classes a day). The eighth class is a mandatory seminar, and it’s taken after school.

Very similar to soccerchic12

Block schedule, meaning each quarter you have a different set of classes. Courses vary, you may have them 1, 2, or all 4 quarters in the year.

Periods 1, 2, and 6 are 1.5 hours long.
In these are many of the core classes and electives.

Periods 3, 4, and 5 are .75 hours long.
One period is a lunch and you may combine 2 of the adjacent periods to make a “larger” class. Generally if you have a 45 minute class you get lunch in period 4. English grades 9-10 and AP chemistry are graduation requirements that are met in these periods so the course is taught all year long.

We have 6 class periods at my school and “zero period/tutorial” on Wednesday mornings. 55 minute classes every day except for Wednesday, when we have 45 minute classes, and 1st period is 5 mins longer everyday so announcements don’t cut into class time.
