Per quarter, how many classes do people usually take? What is the maximum number of classes one can take?

To be considered full-time, you must take at least 12 units per quarter. However, the school also requires a 39-unit minimum requirement per year–that means, unless you attend summer session, you’ll need to take an average of 13 units per quarter for fall, winter, and spring.

For incoming freshman seeking to graduate in four years, the school recommends that you take 15 units per quarter. I believe the maximum is 20 units, but I’m not 100% sure of that. Most students take 13-15 units per quarter.
