At our high school most people take 6 classes. If you want to you can take a 0 period for a total of 7. Seniors are allowed to only take 5 classes and most do.

8 unless youre a senior.
anywjere from 4 to 8 for seniors depending.

In our high school, we take 4 classes one semester [each 90 minutes], then take 4 classes the second for a total of 8 classes. Some are yearlong, such as AP Chem, AP Bio, and AP Calc AB/BC. It’s like that every year of high school.

My school only offers 6 classes per year

At my school, there are 7 classes per day, and they are either 49 or 46 minutes long, depending on the day. You also get a 30 minute lunch period. There’s also summer school, and you can take most semester-long graduation requirements then. You can take 2 per summer.

At my school we have 9 periods. And almost everyone takes a couple of study halls and lunch is included in a period so about 6-7 classes.

However, if you’re like me, the only person in my high school who takes lunch and study halls out of their schedule, then 9 classes.

My school has 8 periods, 4 classes every other day that are 90 minutes each. 9th & 10th graders are required to take 8 classes; 11th & 12th graders are required to have at least 4.

Six. However there is a zero and seventh period.

Seven. However there is an early bird class (0 period) and you had to take an economics and personal finance class online last year. So last year I took 9, and this year I’m taking 8. (I do have a 0 period).

Freshmen, sophomores and juniors are required to take at least seven classes. Seniors must take at least four.

So far, I’ve taken eight classes each year since 9th grade.

Seven classes, three monday/thrusday, three tuesday/friday and one class on all four days.

8 classes unless you’re a senior

I’m jealous of you people lol…6 classes max at my HS, 4 periods per day. All APs (only 5 offered!!) last the whole school year except for AP Macro (half year). Can’t get rid of lunch, and no “0” or off period

Most students take 6 classes per day, although a lot of students don’t take a study hall and instead take all 7. There is a 0 period but it can only be used to replace 7th so I unfortunately couldn’t take 8 classes. Lunch is 30 minutes and not a whole period so it can’t be an extra class either.

We have 9 periods in a day, but science classes span an extra period every other day (“lab” period) and people usually take lunch. I’m taking 2 science classes and no lunch, so…8 classes!

We have 8 periods a day, but one (4th for freshmen and sophomores, 5th for juniors and seniors) is a mandatory lunch period. Everyone is required to take classes during at least six of the remaining periods.

However, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, we have block schedules. Wednesdays we have 1st, 4th or 5th (whichever is NOT your lunch period), and 7th periods; Thursdays are 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 8th periods.

Each period on non-block days is 45 minutes or so, while blocks are approximately 90 minutes long. Because we only have three block periods on Wednesdays, we get to go in an hour and a half later than usual (Except for the one Wednesday a month where the entire school - about 800 people, teachers included - crams into a church for a 90-minute Catholic mass…fun, right?).

6 classes, each class is 50-55 minutes I think, and we have a 30 minute lunch and a 10 minute break. And on non-late start days there is a 30 minute intervention period before 3rd period. There are 0 and 7th periods, but 0 period is just for credit recovery class and weights class, and 7th period is just for credit recovery and Theory of Knowledge for the IB program.

We have seven class periods. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays have all seven classes for 48 minutes each, but Tuesdays are odd block and Wednesdays are even block, so classes are twice as long.

There are, however, a few students at my school that don’t come until second or third period, as they would’ve otherwise have had only a virtual lab period to work on online Dual Enrollment classes.

Only allowed 5 or 6. We have 7 periods (so if you take 5 you get 2 frees and if you take 6 to get 1 free). We have 6 classes that meet per day, with one class dropped per day on a rotating basis. Classes are 53 minutes except the last one which is 72 or so. We get half an hour in the middle of the day for advisory/clubs/assemblies and after that is a ~40 minute lunch or a class and then lunch.

We have a 7 period day, with lunch being one of the periods. The norm is 5 classes, 6 with approval. Science classes has double-period labs, and many music/art/theater classes are double periods, so seven classes would be pretty much impossible to schedule anyway.
