How many club leadership positions is too many? What is they are all in the same area of interest?

There is no "too many" or too few. If you want to be in a leadership position, do it. If you don't, then don't.

At the point where the quality of the leadership begins to decline.

I agree with the above, but to put it in a more tangible way, I'd say absolutely no more than 10, really. That's probably still too much; I usually would say about 3~7 clubs is fine, but it's really hard to put something in perspective (ugh I think I confused you and myself even more...)

I personally would cap it at 5 or 6, though it does depend on the activity (the level of necessary involvement, that is).

Too many is when you personally are stretched too thin, aren't getting enough sleep, are doing something you don't like, or your grades are suffering because of it. Do what you want, but don't overwhelm yourself. Also - make sure you don't cheat your clubs. I lead one too many things my senior year and ended up not being a great leader of one of the clubs, which really disappointed the members below me. As long as you have the time to put into it and you personally want to do it, there is definitely no set number.

great, because i have 5/6 and they are all in one area of interest and they are awesome

^ How many hours do you spend a week on them?
