So this semester I'm taking the equivalent of AP Music Theory at an Ivy League university. I was considering doing another class in the spring semester, but with all the clubs I'm doing, AP exams, SATs (woo junior year), and overall rigor of classes (AP Calc BC, AP USH, AP Lit, AP Spanish, AP Physics), I might not do a class that semester. Is that fine, or do colleges want to see some form of continuity? This would probably be my last chance to take a class at a college since fall '09 I'll be a senior stressed w/ applications and spring of '10 it'll be too late. Any advice?

You'll be fine. I take classes in fall but not in spring because of track, internship, etc. I think it'll be fine

Ok thanks. I was worried because I see on here that people have taken like 3-4 college classes and I think I'm only gonna have one...

I think you're doing more than most seniors with 5 AP's and one college class in the fall (the probable valedictorian at my daughter's school is taking 4 AP classes, one elective, and no college classes). CC is not representative of most high school students and besides, the college Music Theory class will probably be counted as the equivalent of an AP class that takes the whole year
