Just curious... I'm thinking about applying to like 15. I'm worried its too much.

...im only applying to 6. I wouldn't pay a grand just to apply to schools.

yeah harrypotter, I think the absolute max you should prbly apply is 10... and that's even pushing it.

If Early stuff works out, then three. If not, 8-10 max.

I'm applying to way too many... like 12.

I'm a rising junior, but I'm planning to apply to 10-12 schools next year.

Eight tops. I might remove one. I'm not well-off enough for the applications fees to not be a problem, but I'm not poor enough to get a fee waiver.

I'm kinda like baelor... if early action works for me, then 4. If not, somewhere around 8 or 9

Often, the type of applications (CA vs. state schools) and the essay(s) required are more important than the actual number. If you are applying to several state schools, each will have their own format and set of questions to fill out, taking considerably longer than making duplicates of the CA. Also, supplemental essays that are specific to the school (eg. UChicago, Amherst) and cannot be used for applications to other schools also increase the time and energy needed.

2.. maybe 3. my safety kinda became my target

At max 6, maybe less depending on early admissions.

13.

I think thats too many, but my dad wanted me to do like 17. I was like w t h.
Good thing all my schools accept the common application.

I only have 5 on my list right now.

im applying to 12 but 6 of them use the common application so i dont think its too many

7 schools total
3 private
4 public

I'm only applying to 5... maybe even 4 if I end up not liking the last one on my visit list...

Anywhere from 3-5

I'd say that's too many. 10 max should be more than enough, and even that will probably lead to less well done apps. 8-10 IMO. And do EA if you can, or rolling decision.
