Was going to be 14 but I decided not to apply to U of Chicago.

Would have been 14 but I crossed out William and Mary. Done with all apps.

Only 7 were on the common app, so that SUCKED lol

Only one was on Common App. I'm an international so in the worst case I'll be attending a university in my own country (it's a highly regarded school, it just doesn't have the course I want). I suppose that means 4.

10.

2 state schools which I did ea.

8 more apps which I have barely started. Should be a great 5 days...

14

4 safeties
6 matches
4 reaches

I'm ridiculous, but it's not as bad as it seems. Most of my schools didn't have supplements and I had a ton of safeties because I'm really paranoid.

I only applied to 5 schools and have gotten into 3 (safeties but goodies), just waiting to hear back from my top and a safety.

Still have 4 supplements to finish . . . why am I on CC?

1 - accepted by ED. ^^ so happy.
I don't know how you guys are doing it, even one was hard...

7! I could do with 6, though. I don't even want one of the schools to which I applied.

12 - on my last app, but i am already into 6 of them

3 or 4 altogether

I started off with a list of 9 - and already I thought that was too much, but I was like, eh..whatever.
Now after getting deferred EA from my top choice, my list has ballooned to 14

WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE

I was in no way lying about the 42. There was no limit to the number of fee waivers I could get.

Was going to do 10, still considering it, but probably not. Several were no essay (last minute OMG NO ONE IS GOING TO ACCEPT ME freak outs).

was going to do something along the lines of 12, but accepted into 3 early, so now only 8 total. Sweet sweet victory.

Enough said...better get back and finish my last 3.

2 (10charrrr)

one :)
that was enough.

see this is the problem... people who apply to 42 colleges are one of the primary source's to the incredibly high competition to get into these great universities. if you are not serious about all colleges you apply to, then the answer is simple. don't apply to those colleges! do everyone else a favor and help lower this ridiculous and unreachable bar laid out due to the huge numbers of applicants and thus, the extremely low acceptance rates.
also, it is a waste of money to apply to that many schools.

there's my say on the matter.
