I am printing out directions to all of the schools that I want to visit before applying and I am at 17 right now and I have about 5 more to go...I am thinking this is way too many but I have no idea how to limit my choices, I did research on each one but the only way to know for sure is to visit...How many schools did you visit?

6 - 3 were Claremont colleges. The others were all in my state. I am applying to three schools without visiting, and one that I only walked around on the campus at age 13.

So my recommendation is that you visit schools that you are considering applying to, because you may find out like me that some are just not going to work. I found out that I wouldn't have had a social life at Olin, would have been miserable in Atlanta at GIT, and wasn't cut out for USAFA.

Aeggie, I haven't visited anywhere eith, but I think I'm going to make a bunch of visits in the Spring.

i went on a swing through new england solely for college visits, like 7ish (i live near philly) and then flew out to stanford.. i also visited penn at leats 10 times

I've visited Boston University, Boston College, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Pomona, Pitzer, Claremont McKenna and Occidental.
