Well, I thought average Pton students enroll in 4~5 courses a semester, which means they'll graduate with 32~40 courses completed. Even if I don't use any of AP credits, I'll need only 24 courses to satisfy the physics major requirements plus A.B. requirements. I'm an international, so I ignored the foreign language requirement..but it seems there's a lot of vacant space out there!! So is it like Pton A.B. students attend to more courses outside their major to get a second major(?) or a minor, or do juniors/seniors enroll in much fewer courses?

well u also have to satisfy the undergrad announcemnt graduation credit which is fulfulling those LA/SC/EM/EC/HA watever courses which if i remember correctly there are around 8-10 credits there to satisfy. also most people get at least 1 certificate so u will be doing that too.

And during senior year you will probably only take 3 courses per semester because you'll need time to work on your thesis.

We have distribution requirements, but you will naturally fulfill some of them with the courses that go towards your major, so you probably won't have an additional 10 credits on top of your 24. But trust me, you will probably always feel like there are more courses you want to take than you have room for. Enjoy the world-class professors!

Those extra courses you've got (31 - 24 = 7) are totally your choice :-) You can use them to get certificates, but you can't do double majors at Pton.

wait...so if I'm an international student, foreign language requirement is waived??? I did not see that kind of information in the letter that talked about laguage requirement...
