I have been reading the Brandeis course bulletin to learn about their curriculum. The credits for each course are not listed. Is that a fixed number (like, 3 credits per course)?
Also, how many courses and credits does a full-time undergraduate student normally take each semester? What is the total number of courses or credits one must accumulate prior to graduation? I am wondering if one will be able to pursue dual majors if outside (e.g., AP course credits) are NOT used.
Thanks.

Typical course is 4 credits (science labs are generally 2 credits). You need 128 credits (or 32 courses) to graduate. Thus, a typical course load (ex labs) is four per semester.

Double majoring is common, even without AP credit, since the gen ed/ distribution requirements aren't particularly extensive. Double majoring in two sciences is also doable, but requires a little more planning because of prereqs.

I'm not using my APs to pass me out of anything and I'm triple majoring, possibly. shrug Not that hard. Double majors are kind of the norm. I only know of one person that isn't double majoring with at least one minor.

^^^ wow!! Great.
