I see that SBU need at least 24 credits to transfer, and sbs is a 120 credits , 3 credits for each course
I am study in Univ of Oregon right now, the degree requirement is 180 credits which is 4 credits for each course. I will have 28 credits after this summer. Since the general credits are count in different ways, do i have its credits requirement?

Two pieces of the answer.

Because UO is on a quarter system, you’ll get 2/3 of the credit value for the number of credits you’ve earned. So if you’ve completed 28 credits, you’ll get 2/3 of that, or 18.67 credits. Any full-load course (4-credit class) that has a course equivalency here, however, will earn you credit for fulfilling that requirement.

So, for example, assuming you have some sort of 4-credit college writing class… even though that’d technically be 2.67 credits, it still fulfills our 3-credit writing requirement.

Make sense?
