I'm at a CC...I will have all of my prereqs for transfer done by the end of the fall 06 semester, and then I will have a big gap in the spring. I've heard it's good to get your Associates of Arts Degree if possible, so I went ahead and planned courses in the spring with completion of the degree in mind. However, due to taking prereqs that will just become "electives" for my degree plan, by the end I will have 70 credits. I need 61 to complete the degree. This is not a big problem, but I've heard colleges often look down on people that have many more than 60 credits. Is this true, or do you think that if I explain my situation it'll be ok? And if it is true, how big of a role does it play? I know getting my AA with honors will look good, but I don't know if it's worth going 10 credits over...

never mind
