some final proofreading to do tmrw morning and then the most important button of my life will be clicked :|

SAT II tomorrow morning (1 subject left phew) and then off to do my IB Geography field study and then off to Playland to have some fun!

Two subject tests tomorrow... I'm guessing my score for physics is going to completely kill the chances that I had at getting accepted. (I think I'll make around a 500 on that test)... Meh, I guess I'll go spend these next few hours cramming physics stuff into my head. I really should have started studying for that subject test weeks ago instead of starting today... oh well.

I submitted two days ago. Btw, do I need to rush my SATII scores from today or no?

@turkkizi: I'm a CA resident, I live in the south. If I get accepted, moving to the Frozen Wastelands of the New York North will be a fun change. >_>;

nd09: I'm getting mixed answers for that @___@
Some people say to rush it while others are saying it'll be fine without rushing it. I don't even know how to rush it Dx

@completelykate....why would you EVER leave CA for cold cold NY! hah i wish i lived in CA :)
which college are you applying to?

Was anyone's supplement longer than 500 words? :O
I'm having second thoughts about deciding not to shorten mine.

mine was 499....how many words are you over by?

It ended up being 556 words...and that's after painstakingly shortening it from 670. =

Are the admissions officers really that meticulous and check how many words we have? What if it fits onto one page, regardless of word count?

i think that would be fine..i mean i think the point of the word count is to prevent people from going on and on and on...but one page is fine..just make sure you're not like being to wordy/repeating what you've already said

Does it have to be in one page? Mine is 1.5-spaced. It's 1.5 pages.

i think we're all over analyzing the details

Mine was 578 words, single-spaced, about a page (I spaced the paragraphs).

Yeah, as long as it's not hugely over the limit I don't think the adcoms will really care.

mine was rough 600 words...
Yeah, its over the limit. But I don't think it will matter that much.
I called them about that and they say its fine.

random question: once you submit your application arent you supposed to get a username and password to access a certain part of cornell's website??

Cornell's website says it takes up to two weeks for them to send CornellID and password. Only after two weeks should you call them up to see what's up.

I got mine just a little less than two weeks after I submitted.

oh okay, thats good to know. i thought my application didnt process correctly or something!

AH!!! Just applied today...so frickin nervous.

My supplement essay was 534, but the admissions officer with whom I talked said as long as it fits two pages double-spaced, it should be fine.

i sent mine the first week of october. ugh.
