I have heard that UT Austin only accepts around 125 kids in Biomedical… So what happens in you are not accepted? is there a second choice? How easy is to transfer later on into the major that you wanted? Or if you get in, could you transfer into EE?
I am new to this site…. and new to the college process…
well biomed is hard to internal transfer also , you need around a 3.8 to internal transfer into bio med : http://www.engr.utexas.edu/undergraduate/admissions/changeofmajor … they have statistics on the page for last 4 semesters
im assuming you maybe able to transfer at orientation but not sure , but i would definitely assume it would be a very irritating process
Thanks @MyLonghorn… But could you tell me how many choices do you have when you apply?
When applying, you’re given two potential choices for majors. So Biomedical could be their first choice, civil their second choice, etc.
Thanks @evanian15
Happy to help!
