How many essays college usually require?

I am currently planning to apply for 6-7schools
However, 2 of them are Apply Texas(TAMU, UT)

Depends on the University. Some require none. Most require 1 or 2 essays(could be anything form 150-500 words). A few also require 4 essays like USC.

My questions were, How many essay for Common App, Apply Texas, UI, UC?(all excluding supplement essay)

Excluding supplements, just the one personal essay for Common App. You only need to write one personal essay for all of them.

@SameerHussain‌ Sweet! only one for general common app and apply texas? I thought there were 3 for common app and like2supplement for every school

Oh, I thought you meant only Common App schools. I don’t know about the rest but you have to write only one general essay for the ones on Common App.

Is there a school that you applied from UMich, UIUC, Georgia Tech, UC Berkeley? if so, how many essays did you wrote for each?

Georgia Tech: One CommonApp personal essay and two CommonApp supplements.

I thinking about early action, I have 2120(1450) SAT, 800 math2 720Chem, 5 on ApCAl BC and AB, 4on AP chem
and im from texas. Would have have a good chance?
