<p>A lot of CCers have over 15 extracurriculars. What's a "good" number that I should put on the Common App? </p>
<p>So far, I have around 7, but they're all pretty solid. There's nothing flimsy like joining a thousand clubs in Gr. 12 or anything like that.</p>

<p>Quite frankly, having over 15 extracurriculars most often means that the applicant in question is only minimally involved in most of them. I’d recommend that you only include EC’s that you could easily write a meaningful paragraph about (i.e. why you participate in them, what you learn/gain from them).</p>
