<p>don’t over generalize, please. the “asians” you are referring to are probably the chinese/taiwanese/korean/indians, not the vietnamese/thai. but even then it’s only a generalization.</p>
<p>It depends on my homework and courses, so around 1-3 hrs a day. </p>
<p>In the summer, about 30 minutes reading a book, otherwise I go play basketball/football, go watch a movie, play video games or hang out with friends. I am too lazy to study in the summer.</p>
<p>Lol, never on a regular day, anywhere from 0-2 hrs max day before/day of a test (though I imagine that’s going to have to change this fall once I get to college), and yes, Asian here.</p>

<p>ditto, and i’m in college. a good one. i have a concentration problem. i actually get pretty decent grades too, it’s all about efficiency and adaptability.</p>
<p>oh an ps 2 hours isn’t max for me the day before an exam, i’ve studied longer than that at times.</p>

<p>I do homework <em>if I didn’t finish it in study hall</em> and study for tests the day before. I can’t really imagine spending more time than that.</p>
<p>As for studying in the summer, there’s no need if you’re not taking a summer course or w/e.</p>

<p>Asians, as a whole, have an innate work ethic that is better than other races (IMHO). That’s what I think it comes down to, why are you condescending about it (OP)?</p>

<p>im in highschool, and when i had an average amount of work, i had 3 hrs. Hardly any, then less than 1. Projects, then it could take 7+</p>
