How many hours a week do you spend on HW/ EC

HW=15 hours a week
ECs=9 hours

Let’s see…

Homework = ~25 hours
ECs = ~10 hours (Acad. Team (2), Hospital (3), Piano (3), Spanish (1), Zoo (1))

EC=at least 20 hours a week, I’ve had weeks of probably 50+ hours too (I’m a competitive soccer player with most of my team looking at D1 colleges) if I include clubs it probably hits an additional 3-6 hours a week depending on the week. With an hour of prayer every Friday for FCA, some weekends 5+ hours of academic team, soon to be math yeM looking at a few hours here and there, once fencing starts up that’s another 4 hours a week.
And homework= 12 hours or so a week depending on the tests and such that week.

Let’s put it this way, I work at a pace extremely fast paced with little sleep.

ECs are pretty much my life. ~ 24 hours a week. Sometimes more, sometimes a bit less. If you include weekends, it goes up to 35-40 hours depending on the weekend.

I don’t spend as much time as I should on my homework… about one to two hours a night. Usually one.

I’m in bed by 11 every night :)

I have lacrosse conditioning which takes about 3 hours every Thursday … :(.

HW- 7-15 hours depending on the week
Marching band- 8-20 hours depending on the week
Playing trombone- 14+ a week
Service- 2-3 a week (as an average because I do service every other week or so)

HW: Depends on the class but usually about 4 to 5 hours on the nights before an Odd Day (Spanish, Humanities, Bio) and 1-3 hours on the nights before an Even Day (Math, English, Band), excluding band practice

ECs: All together about 9-15 hours a week

I have no time for sleep. X_X

Homework: Depends on the week (A or B), but usually around 6 hours each week.

ECs: On an extremely slow week, I’ll have at least 2-4 hours, but on my hardcore busiest weeks, it’s ~120 hours, because I work one week a semester at an educational environmental science camp for 6th graders. However, on average I probably have ~15 hours of ECs. ECs are my life.

During basketball and tennis season, I have 20-25 hours and 15-18 hours respectively. All other EC’s added together brings about 5-6 hours, not including sports. Homework is anywhere from 5-18 depending on varying factors.

Well Archery is 40min a day 4days a week (2.6hours) + Tennis is once a week (1.5hours) + avg hw a night (3.4hours)=

7.4 hours

ECs ~ 30 hours
Homework ~3-5 hours. It depends. I don’t study very hard in school.

Homework: A couple of hours, unless I have a paper or major project due
Crew - 5 hours
a NASA program - 14 hours
FIRST FRC - 4 hours (out of season)/~38 hours (in season)
teaching myself languages -anywhere from 7 to 21 hours
Science Olympiad - 2 hours
USAPhO - 4 hours
Club Sports - 3 hours (out of season)/10 hours (in season)
Job - 8 hours, sometimes 16
Student Council - as few as possible

FRC season is gonna suck, probably going to need to drop crew, skip six weeks of practice, and cut a few hours of languages and my NASA thing.

I’m surprised I’m so much busier than everyone else so far in this thread, I thought CC was where overachievers hung out?

Homework - 16 hours? I have around 3 hours each weeknight (excluding Friday), and 4 on the weekends.
ECs - Around 13 hours? Debate, squash, piano, singing, rock band, chorus, and soon newspaper as well.
Service - 2 hours each week, I’m guessing.

And then mandatory work duty. Yay prep school!

It’s seems to me like I’m never not doing either one or both of those things. Given time to sleep (about eight hours each night), I guess about 112 hours in total.

Homework - 10 hours a week (if you include weekends)
ECs - ranges from 8-15 hours

15-20 hours of ECs
Probably the same amount or a little less of homework.
