How many hours a week do you study?

Probably 8-10 hours a day....of course, that includes breaks and talks and stuff.

On average about 45-50 hours a week. I don't study on Fridays. I shouldn't even be online right now, I should be studying protein folding dynamics...

10-15 hours a week.

I just get it.

With your username being ethyl alcohol, are you a chemistry major?

He sounds more like a biochem major to me!

It depends...last night was a killer, and I probably studied straight for 6 hours (it took quite a lot of will power). Tonight is much less stressful. I'll probably only be studying for 2 hours. On average, maybe 3-4 hours a night, which usually comes to about 15 per week (I don't study on Friday).

I didn't start this thread for the purpose of knowing how many hours I should study a week--as frostburg2010 implies. I've started this thread to see how other's study patterns stack against my own.

hrtz, 13 hours a day? Even if that's a mild exaggeration, damn! What school do you attend?

i haven't really studied thefirst few weeks of school and shouldn't really have to this semester...come next semester i know i will be studying my ass off (10-20 hours a week) unless i switch out of engineering...in high school i would study like 2-3 hours or more straight the day before an exam and it worked out well...except with calc and physics you have to make sure you understand what you are studying before you cram

Hmm.. I know some pre-med guy who barely studies and never goes to lectures and get's mostly A's in his courses. Its not that he slacks on studying, hes just very efficient at it I guess. Any one have friends like that?

For somebody in high school who used to cram for tests on the bus ride to school, getting good study skills has been pretty tough for me, my first semester freshman GPA is going to be pretty low (B+-ish average... mostly caused by Orgo grade though, lol).

These days, I'm probably spending 15-20 hours a week studying, which sucks. If you want to count going to class.. that adds another 20 hours.

I studied at most two hours a week during the first month here, that turned out to be a big mistake.

Atleast 4 hrs a day, sometimes all day. Basically whenever I am not working. It's mainly for 1 class, which is very hard.
