How many credit hours are you taking? And how many hours do you work a week?

I know someone who works two jobs (30 or so hours) per week AND is taking 21 credit hours!

Before entering nursing school, I worked an average 13 hours a week and taking 15 credit hours. Now I am working 8 hours a week (on average) and have 17 credit hours. I don't know how she does it!

Around 30 hours during the year, some weeks I work up to 50 hours. 16 credits.

It’s only bad during finals week. Some how I didn’t think ahead and worked about 45 hours during last semester’s finals. That was not a good choice.

Last semester I worked between 10 and 13 hours a week and took sixteen credit hours.

Probably working around the same amount of time and taking 18 credit hours. I had a lot of free time this past semester, so hopefully it’ll be okay.

Also, it really depends on your homework amount, major, course difficulty, etc. I don’t have a lot of homework that I take home but I do have a lot of hours I have to work in the studios.

As a bio major, last semester I worked 4 hours one week and ~14 the other week (alternating weekends at the dining hall) with 12 credit hours and 4 hours per week in the lab because the spacing of my classes was completely erratic.

This upcoming semester, I have 16 credits and I’m hoping to get into another lab for about 6 hours a week with roughly 21 hours of work per week.

I typically take 18 credits and I work anywhere from 40-60 hours a week with that to support all of the ridiculous bills that come with life. 10 of those are an on campus job,and then I weekly am a part time nanny for three different families, and also do “date night” sitting which is what I cut out when I’m just completely overwhelmed.

You all make me feel so lazy. I’ll be taking 17 credit hours this coming semester and working 9 hours/week. Last semester was the same work schedule only with 15 hours.

I’m taking 15 credits and working around 10 hours a week. That’s pretty usual for me. I never have any problems getting everything done, even last semester when I was taking really hard classes.

Where do you all work? I’m looking for jobs and it seems my options are either: waiter at Applebee’s, package handler at UPS or weekend concierge at an apartment complex.

I work at a domestic violence shelter, I work for the Braille and Talking Books Library through the state, and I work at a photography place. I also nanny during the summer.
