around how many hours a week do first years have classes? and how hard will it be for a student who hasnt taken all the science AP courses to catch up?im from canada and my school doesnt really offer those classes

it depends on your credit load. freshmen year 1st semester my brother took 16 creds and spent an average of 4 hours a day in class but lots more time studying

I have ~18 hours of class a week and I'm currently taking 14 credits. Don't worry about needing to "catch up" without AP credits...even if you come in with no AP credit at all you won't be behind... :/

it all depends on how hard you're willing to work. minimal hours in class, many hours spent outside studying.

I also didnt have a great background in lab sciences when i came here and i think that you become acclimated with it very quickly. I take 18 credits now and took 18 credits in the fall and had 22 and 25 hours in class, respectively. However a ton of time is spent working outside of class either studying and doing work or working on projects for certain classes.

More missed class = MUCH more outside work. :D :D :D
