How many hours on average do you spend on homework? I'm about to take my first AP, AP Euro (which is one of the most difficult courses at my school) Do good AP classes require alot more time?

AP EURO is one of the most difficult courses...eh, maybe in ur school, but it's one of the easier AP Tests......
I spend 8 hours per day (going to an accelerated residential schoool)

Yes, AP's generally require a lot more time.
For APUSH sophomore year, the class gave me an average of 3 hours of homework a night. And that's not counting every other class.

I can't really say how much hw I get, since I don't do it all at once- rather, in classes, in study halls, during lunch (when I've suddenly realized that the next class has a hw assignment I forgot to do...or I just decided I'd leave it until the last minute), whenever.

For the record, I've never actually not gotten something done, and I've never had a problem with my method- it works for me.
But to be more specific, I guess it depends; some days, I get 6 or 7 hours of homework, some nights I get 1 or 2 (rarely do I get 0).

Edit- that 6 or 7 is also pretty rare as well. 3 is a good number in the middle for general purposes.

I used to spend about 2 hours on my hw (3 ap classes + a couple honors). I was very lazy though (ie: skip hw and rely on my test grades to get me A's), and most of the hw was just busywork. This year i have 5 Aps, not sure how time consuming it is going to be.

1-2 hrs max

to the op, homework plus studying?

or only homework?

10-15 minutes.

Junior year: 5 APs and another honors class gave me about 4-5 hours of homework with minesweeper in between.

Anywhere from 2-5 hours...with the block schedule, it depends on the day.

No more than 5 hours...Depends on projects or papers, so sometimes more.

Usually no more than 30 minutes.

LOL, i spend nearly all day.

I had 3 APs and the rest honors classes last year (junior year), and I rarely had to do any homework at home. I probably got about 1-2 hours a day of assigned homework, but I would just do it during class or not do it at all.

I do homework in the morning by my locker, at lunch, or the period before the class the homework is due in...ALL the day it's due.

last year with 4 APs and 2 honors i would normally spend 15 minutes max at home, and do the rest in the morning, at lunch, or in other classes.
this year at a different school i have 5 aps 1 honors and im spending maybe an hour max, including studying. ill probably start doing less once i get situated though.

probably less than 2 hours a day. i actually thought ap classes were easier than regular classes. there was less homework in them too.

On average, zero minutes. I usually do it in homeroom or study hall unless that is a viable option.

It seems that no matter how much I have, I still get it done in around 2 hours.

Question: Without Study Hall or classes that could pass for study hall, What would you qualify as a "hardworking" student? I personally think the term gets thrown around too much.

Gee! Two hours?? Now is this because the workload's easy, or is because you guys just have a really easy time with it?
