Omg, I think I’m in love with you!!!1! <3 <3
Jk, although your coolness factor as just gone up a fair bit ;)

HATE HATE HATE IE. (Chief, although not only offender)

Lol, I remember giving up on that because I got tired of typing all those capital letters. Should probably get back to learning it sometime…

^ I’m homeschooled, and while my dad was into programming as a kid that was on a TRS-80 :P. So I’m pretty much flying by the seat of pants, and learning by the “change something and see if something good happens” method.

I can’t start an HTML file for my life, but I can do almost anything in the middle of the file.

I used to be obsessed with HTML when I was 10-11-12-ish. I can probably still find a bunch of crappy multicolored websites that I made back then, but I’d really rather not. I started learning CSS, but then I stopped building my own websites. They did try to make us build sites at school 3 or 4 years back, but we used Dreamweaver. Copout.

As for programming, I can write very very very simple programs in C++.

I’m sorry to stick this in here, but is it hard to self teach Java/C++? I’m trying to learn some programming during the summer. I’m an absolute noob in terms of programming, so yeah any advice would be recommended.

^ Learning a programming language can come naturally or be a struggle. I think it really depends on your strengths. I’m in a CS class at school and there are kids who practically learned Java overnight, along with HTML, CSS, etc. There are also people, myself included, who really struggle with the logical flow of Java and C++. Give it a shot and see how you do.

Oh yeah, I learned my HTML through neopets too(:
