I will be an Indian student who will be sooner or later applying in many of the Universities in the USA and I had a curiosity that how many international students get financial aid from the university they are applying into.

Depends on the university

What about the leading universities like MIT, Harvard, Caltech, Princeton, Stanford, etc.?

It is very hard and the competition is too damn high for aid for HYPSM, Caltech. But it’s not impossible.

I’m not very sure but it also depends on how much aid do you want. HYPM are need-blind but Cal tech and Stanford are need-aware. Cal tech only takes around 30 Int’ls every year. So to get in Cal tech with sufficient aid is nearly impossible unless you have something extraordinary ( like a nobel prize or something- just kidding )

Hey guys,am just talking bachelor’s! #:-S

But still, lets take the wildest possibility and say if a student requires about 38000 USD. Would they do that for an international student at HYPSM?

Need-blind unis will- if I’m not wrong

The article tells me to start looking at the US political stance for the next 2 years because Congress has a role in it :-?

Go through the Common Data Set of the universities/colleges.
You can find the no. of international students receiving financial aid.
