<p>Looking at last year's demographics, it seems as though about a third of the Caltech is Asian, but can someone tell me how many of these are Indians? I'm an international applying from India and wonder how much company I'll have. Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>While I don't know exact statistics, I can tell you that there is a sizeable number of Indian students at Caltech. There are quite a few in my own house, and I often see or hear about some of them getting together for an ethnic related activity. Additionally, Caltech has a group called OASIS (Organization of Associated Students from the Indian Subcontinent, maybe?) that serves as an Indian-subcontinent cultural club (with many graduate student and post-doc members).</p>
