HOw many IVIES are YOU applying to??

Some kids at my school apply to ALL 8 + MIT and Stanford. I think thats a bit of an overkill (not to mention would significantly reduce the weight of my wallet). I'm applying to my three favorites : Princeton, Yale and Columbia. How about you guys?!

NONE! lol

the most IVY i'm gon get is Johns Hopkins...and that's probably stretching it.

3... and i wish i werent just because there's so much stigma attached to the 'ivy' name. i just like the schools. they're just schools. ahhh.

If I get into Yale EA, only one :) If not, I'll have to spend the app money on Princeton and Harvard, so that's three. More would be insane, especially since they're so different.

Columbia ED. After that the only ivies are HYP, but if I can't get accpeted to Columbia early it's doubtful I'll get into the top three ivies.

More for the point of "I'll always thinks what if..." than a realistic hope (Upenn). I just would love to go here, and I think I'd prefer rejection over always wondering if I could've done better. :D

Maybe 2.........

4: Harvard, Yale, Brown, and U Penn. None ED.

U Penn. none ED either.

one for sure, maybe another for hell of it. but my college list is already at 9...

None. I just didn't like the feel of the ones I visited.

2, Brown and Princeton. Neither ED

one of those "what ifs".

1 ED.
1 what-if? RD

Just Columbia RD. And though it used to be my dream school, it has since moved much farther down my list.

Upenn, thats it. Possibly columbia, but maybe not. I totally agree with Ampersand - columbia used to be my dream school as well! But that was before I did any research, etc.

Columbia used to be my dream school too! However, I found the core to be too...extensive for my tastes, too restricting, among a ton of other factors.

Just one - Brown (ED). I'm applying to Brown because I absolutely love the school - it really has nothing to do with the fact that it's an Ivy. I hate how so many kids apply to Ivies just to say they got accepted into an Ivy, regardless of whether or not they even like the school. Even if Brown weren't an Ivy, it would still be my number one choice.

zero zero zero times zero

zero zero zero times zero

I believe the answer is....zero if I am correct based on my BC Calculus skills and analysis.

columbia and cornell (I know they are total opposites, I love cornell engineering, and columbia has my dream setting )
columbia for ED
