How many Ivies do you guys apply for?

<p>All besides Penn and Brown, but I had to apply to Ivies for financial reasons (in the under $60,000 bracket). Everyone at my school was going for PB, so I opted for HYPColDCor. Heh.</p>

<p>Anyway, after getting in Stanford SCEA, I only applied to HP. In fact, those three were my only stretches anyway (my counselor is TOUGH in that respect). Yale was an option if Stanford didn't work out.</p>

<p>Anyway, yeah he applied to all EIGHT and got rejected from all. Agh, now some people are gonna hone on me for not knowing how many ivies are in the system ><</p>

<p>Only Harvard, an asian kid I know applied to all eight , he has a 1800 SAT and i doubt he is in the top 10% of our class, another kid I know had similar stats and applied to just Harvard</p>

<p>I applied to Yale, Harvard, and Princeton. And UT, I only applied to four schools bc i loved UT so it was mu safety and match which left only reaches of HYP. The others i did not really want to attend.</p>

<p>Oh my God, you do not know how much I hate Heart of Darkness too. I kept reading to get to the good part, and then it ended. You're so much better off just seeing Apocalypse Now.</p>

<p>Heart of Darkness... what can I say about that book... It was so bad, but it was SO good. It connects to everything yet it was the most excruciating read I've had to do (except Cry, the Beloved Country; that was just boring). </p>

<p>Ayway, back on topic. I applied to Harvard, Princeton, and Cornell. I don't really like the others except for Yale but I don't like New Haven and it's too close to home so I figured no point since I'd pick HP or 2 of my other schools over Yale just for that reason.</p>
