<p>Last I checked AU doesn’t require letters of recommendation but still accept up to 3. I’ve heard many of my friends say they didn’t even submit a letter of recommendation. Though, I remember I sent in one letter of recommendation and I got in. AU likes students who show high interest in the university so getting as many as possible should be your goal. <p>“As many as possible” is not a good idea–since they aren’t even required, the guidance counselor’s standard letter and one or two teacher letters will be plenty. You want your application to be enticing, not annoying.</p>
