I remember reading Calc AB
but my advisor said it was Calc BC
but my friend said it was Calc D

think it’s calc BC, which would be math 9c

I never heard of calc d…

after calc bc would be multivariable calculus

most cnas majors end at math9b… some will do math9c… few will go on to math10a/b/c
math9a is AP Calc a,
math9b is AP calc B, and
math9c is AP calc c,
of course the college version covers a lot more!! i got a 5 on my AP a/b exam and got to skip a quarter of the 9 series. if you really like math, then you’ll go on to the 10 series and math46, differential equations!!! awesomeness much.

so, like, maybe I should take

math 9c
math 10a
math 10b
math 10c
math 46
and then statistics

is stats a one quarter class? or is it a series…

hopefully I can get all my math done by sophomore year

stat100a and stat100b. i dont have to take stat but i might take the class someday just to know it.
math10 is just a and b. so you do 10a, then 10b, and then 46. you can also do 10a and 46 at the same time.

check out the degree check on growl or me@ucr on r’webs site.

k thanks

that’s still by soph year with the two stat classes I guess, unless I take two at a time

I think I’ll be taking two science classes per quarter at some point though

stats is mostly for bussiness and econ majors like me and other Chass students

I talked to my advisor today.
She said it depends on specific majors.
As for me, i only need Math 9b (Calc bc) since i’m an environmental science major

tow sci classes a quarter? yeah it happens…
ehh ehh, next quarter:
Chem112
Phys040
Biol05
Math010
T______T

i might offset myself with chem112 for a quarter and end the series over the summer…

wow and I thought I hand it hard last year with Precal/Stats, Physics,Chem Ap, and Principles of Ehgineering
