<p>Um, 0…I don’t know anyone who’s got it (while I’ve been there anyway).</p>
<p>my school got 30 semifinalists and like 12 commended out of 450 ish</p>
<p>2 nm.commended / 276 (including special ed)</p>
<p>23/550 were nm</p>
<p>10 finalists out of 450ish</p>

and we had like 5 commended. and i was the only hispanic scholar. and there weren’t any of that other one (for blacks).</p>
<p>37/1309, that’s alot, but not a huge number at all compared to last year.</p>

<p>At Stanton (Newsweek #3 in nation), we always get 20+ each year out of classes of about 300.</p>
<p>Generally, there are only a handful of NMSF. This year, there were only 2 Commended at my school, and the most we’ve had were 4 NMSF.</p>

<p>19 semis out of 650… its a magnet school though, however you really only need excellent grades to get in, test scores don’t matter so much, so people tend to not be incredible test takers.</p>
