Hopefully I'm a better writer...haha.

My english teacher is okay, I'm not really learning much though. Although the other day....he was subtracting numbers on the board and he started from the left instead of the right....o.o

every english teacher ive had has said he sucks at math and every math teacher ive had said he/she sucks at english.

bullet points like that do not NEED to have proper grammar, I doubt your teacher was even trying to make them gramattically correct.

The grammar sucks, but they are NOTES. If someone read my notes, they'd think that I was a brain-dead monkey.

damn, that's some serious grammar errors

what are you guys even talking about .. the only grammar error I really see is like point #3 and it's not even a big deal (were instead of was) .. and some points don't have punctuation but she probably wrote it out that way purposely as like a quick reminder .. my ap us teacer gave us notes like this all the time last year

Can someone point out which sentences have grammar error? Like it's worded off, but I don't see any specific errors?

In a quick glance I saw:
Sentence 3: No coma needed, "were" should be "was", Capitalization
Sentence 5: Parrelism error.
Sentence 8: No coma needed.
Sentence 9: Parrelsim, Passive Voice

There are probobly several more I would catch if I looked at it more
Also, almost every sentence could be phrased better.

Billhpike,

Passive voice isn't necessarily grammatically "incorrect." It's just frowned upon. Like contractions in academic writing.

And seriously, you people are lame. I bet all of you have made serious grammatical errors in notes.

It is not the grammar, it is the writing style - seems like it is written to be read by elementary students.

Yes, I have made errors in my personal notes. But they were my eyes only. I couldn't write something that bad if I tried.

This is not atypical for my teacher. Her syllabus contained dozens of grammitical errors and was nearly incoherent. I doubt that she could write an SAT essay that would recieve more than a 6/12.

I think you're being a bit mean. That's why I was scratching my head, I couldn't see exact examples of grammartical errors.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Billhpike,

I'm not saying that the errors aren't a problem, but your assertion that it's incoherent is a bit exaggerated. It's pretty easy to get the gist of what the author is saying.

And by the way...

what's that saying about people in glass houses?
