how many of you consider abercrombie as an expensive cloth?

i like the way it looks and feel very nice to wear but lots of my friends keep saying its too expensive...

how do you guys think?

I see it as mildly expensive, but its advertised (and real-life) image as clothing for the rich and snobby has helped make it look more expensive.

I don't think it's too expensive. I like/buy their clothes too, except their jeans that look like they're ripped.

What's up people these days... BUYING ripped jeans? ...Just go to the Goodwill, buy some jeans, cut 'em. :) You just saved $50. lol

I have often thought about that. Ditto for baggy pants (just get oversized legs instead of spending $60 for specialized clothes from Phat Farm among others).

i dont like abercrombie jeans either
i usually buy jeans some more expensive brand jeans at outlet store...

F**kin' expensive. Whenever I save up enough, I indulge myself in American Eagle instead.

I think it's expensive--why would I ever spend $40 on a single shirt?

Im just cheap so everything is expensive

I love their jeans.

Abercrombie is comparable in price to what I buy from Banana Republic, Gap, J. Crew, etc.

But Abercrombie clothing is crap. It's like a more expensive Aeropostale. All their clothes brand the name ABERCROMBIE somewhere and everything is pretty much crappy.

Is not Aeropostale a branch of A/F?

No, AF, AE, and Hollister are all owned by the same company, I think. AF and Hollister often have the exact same things - I kid you not, some guy in my English class did a project on this once - for a difference of 10$ (Hollister being cheaper). I orefer AE considerably, and whenever I would choose to indulge in a 40$ shirt (rarely if ever, and it has to be really freakin cute), it's from Banana Republic.

Go Banana.

I'm working my way up to Armani. :)

Abercrombie has lost all of its class - I'm going 100% designer ;)

I knew that Hollister was the "middle-class" version of A/F, in its (sadly enough) successful attempts to bring its products to two economic classes of teenagers.
It seems time I learn the difference in modern American teen clothing. I already know the Japanese stuff a bit too well from my forays into JJ and Egg.

um....... wal-mart, kaufman's, kohl's for me............
domination.
i think the most 'designer' shirt I wear nowadays is like one polo ralph lauren shirt that I got from Kohl's or Marshall's?

Abercrombie and Hollister are both trashy. I like AE so much more, it's way classier. And, (when I can afford it), Banana and Armani Exchange are the best.

oh....armani class...
i like armani watch and gucci watch...

do you college students wear armani a lot??
since my school is public high school, no one wear armani....including me.
i only have armani watch..

I don't wear Armani either... that's kind of crazy at this age.

I do, however, compensate with my extensive collection of cologne. Giorgio Armani, French Connection, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole... yum.
