Polos are CUTE :) I love the preppy style on guys; it just looks so clean and nice. I wear a LOT of American Eagle and Victoria's Secret. I've been dying to get a Lacoste pique polo for MONTHS but my mom is still in shock at the cost.. :(

Polos peaked last summer. I'm telling you - they're out. Ewww

running/skiing t-shirts are in...

I think spending anything beyond $20 for a t-shirt and $35 for a pair of jeans is expensive.

agreed.
I feel so alienated from all you name-brand addicts. o.o;

If it makes you feel better, I have on a shirt I finger-painted. Yes, I wore it to school. Yes, I'm proud of it. Yes, it's one of my favorite shirts. Yes, it has evil snowflakes with fangs.

I can't stand Abercrombie. Not only can I not afford it, but it's just not my style anyway. The $70 ripped jeans are probably what annoy me the most. It's way more fun to by a $17 pair of jeans from walmart and rip them yourself (accidentally, of course).

If I do end up with enough money to shop for clothes in mall stores, I'd probably stick to 3-5-9, Pac Sun, and possibly American Eagle.

Hehe. That's cute.

"Polos peaked last summer. I'm telling you - they're out. Ewww"

I was not talking about polo shirts. I was talking Polo Ralph Lauren as a whole. Their oxford shirts/cashmere sweaters/blazers/chino pants can never be out of style..............

it's like, if I'm wearing khaki pants, a white oxford shirt, a repp tie and a blue sport coat, you just CAN'T say i'm OUT. there;s no such thing as "IN" or "OUT" when it comes to the traditional look. it's the way it is.

If you think Ralph Lauren is lame, try Brooks Brothers, J.Press, the Andovers Shop...etc

J.Crew has some nice stuff too

i love ralph lauren too!!but only thing i dont like them about is that they have too many outlet store..so it is really kinda uncomfortable to buy them in the regular store...beside that polo is the best for me!!

Oh when lumped RL with Lacoste I assumed you were talking about their polo shirts which they are most famous for.

I ****es me off that almost everyone of these stores have their logo at the front. I have a few polo/hilfiger shirts, and I rarely wear them anymore because of that. At least the Gap doesn't follow this elist trend.

Wait, AF owns Hollister and American eagle is seperate. I never shop as AF, sometimes at Hollister and I really like American eagle out of the three. It seems like everybodys clothes are from these stores. And I hate leggings with a skirt and paired with flats. It's stupid when every other girl wears it!

When you buy from abercrombie or any of these stores you are buying the label. The idea behind it is you know its something you can trust to be of a certain quality, but you can get the same thing anywhere else..

I only consider A&F expensive because it is so poorly made. Banana Republic is the same price but the clothes are better quality.

they r like all the same price basically~ except Abercrombie!

I have found price differences between the brands, especially BR and AE.
