<p>We did find out too late that MIT was missing a LoR, so basically his application was incomplete. My son didn't seem interested in seeing if there is an appeal process. I guess with one acceptance in his pocket he isn't all that bummed out about it. Lesson for future applicants: follow up and make sure those LoRs are sent.</p>
<p>ohh really, im sorry to hear that. actually MIT bio informed me about missing materials (my lazy PI' LOR) and completion of my app. they definitely screwed up in your son's case.</p>
